Prior to being drafted by the Pirates, Chaz was named to the All Southeast Conference First Team while playing for the University of Georgia where he honed his hitting skills with hitting coach Rick Eckstein. While a Bulldog, Chaz batted .387 and set the school season record for hits with 109 base knocks and the record for steals with 31. Chaz is a graduate of Seminole High School where he batted .494 and was an All State Selection. While injuries shortened Chaz’s professional baseball career, his passion for the game and working with area youth have inspired him to dedicate himself to expose kids to the proper fundamentals of baseball and increase their success and enjoyment of the game. Chaz also has a love for scouting. In 2008, he graduated from the MLB Scouting Bureau Scout School. From beginning ball players to competitive teams to top area college and pro prospects, Chaz Lytle helps all of his students achieve success on the field of play. Known by many top high school and college coaches as one of the best teachers of hitting mechanics, Chaz teaches the same sound fundamentals of hitting, fielding and base running that he learned while playing as an All SEC player for the University of Georgia and as a two time team MVP within the Pittsburgh Pirates organization. He brings serious and sound instruction to his players while always maintaining a motivational and fun atmosphere. Call Chaz today to see how he can help your player improve his or her game. |
